Peracetic Acid with Enzymatic Additives
Water-soluble granulate for cleaning and disinfection by cold chemical sterilisation of medical and surgical instruments and endoscopes on the basis of peracetic acid. The peracetic acid based system provides a wide microbiological activity with fast acting times. With its enzymatic additives Sterasep Instruments achieves an advanced cleaning effect, meaning that blood and other organic residues are removed rapidly and reliably.
Disinfection of medical instruments provides an active protection against a variety of pathogenic germs, bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. In any field of healthcare medical instruments must be disinfected professionally, additionally cleaned and reviewed carefully following medical treatment.
Applications
Provides high level cleaning of medical and surgical instruments and endoscopes. Compatible with a wide range of different materials including thermostable and thermolable medical instruments and flexible endoscopes. The cleaning process with Sterasep Instruments fulfills the RKI recommendation of not being protein fixing.
Sterasep Instruments has been successfully tested on Karl STORZ and OLYMPUS endoscopes and HONER surgical instruments.
